Consistent with the function of the Penang Regional Development Authority Development (PEPRDA) as the agency motivating the development of local communities, PERDA has been implementing various projects or economic development programmes that aim to develop the PERDA target groups in all areas of socio- economic.

This includes organizing programmes to promote entrepreneur products or joining any promotional programmes organized by government or private sector.

In 2009, as many as 10 promotional products programmes under the guidance of PERDA were successfully carried out locally and abroad. These programmes concentrated on the involvement of all entrepreneurs to introduce their products to the public.

Through this approach, it is hoped that, PERDA entrepreneurs does not only aim at increasing direct sales of the products , but, also focus on expanding business chains and widen product marketing.

Through this approach , PERDA’s mission to increase sosio-economy target of the targeted group is achieved.
