There are many beneficial educational development programmes being set so as to ensure the academic excellence of pupils from rural areas.
Scope
This programme is meant for rural pupils who will sit for their public examinations at the end of the year such as PMR, PMR and SPM. There are 4 strategic agencies involved : PERDA, Penang State Education, ICU JPM and PUZ. The programme is called “Program Didik Cemerlang Akademik” (Academic Excellence Programme).
Under this programme too, a systematic and complete learning portal for primary school pupils was created. Visit http://www.perda.gov.my/edidik/.
In the near future, a systematic and complete learning portal for secondary school pupils will be set up.
